Casdin is the Executive Vice President of Retail Advisory Services based out of Toronto at JLL, where he is primarily responsible for Tenant Representation for national and international retailers seeking expansion in enclosed shopping centres and on high streets across Canada.
Casdin’s career in commercial real estate spans more than 15 years. He joined JLL as VP, Retail in 2019, after 4+ years at Oxford Properties Group, where he lead the leasing and merchandising of one of North America’s leading retail destinations helping introduce nearly two dozen retail brands into the Canadian market working with global leaders in fashion, technology and food & beverage.
Based in Toronto, Casdin currently represents leading international fashion retailers Canada Goose, Sandro, Maje, Tory Burch, and Nike along with many other leading groups, as well as securing flagship high-street locations for clients such as Kering, Richemont, Nike and Ralph Lauren amongst others.
Casdin earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor where he graduated with Honors in Business Administration. Upon graduating, Casdin immediately had the opportunity to start in the commercial real estate sector in property management.
A strong believer in leadership development, Casdin is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centres and formerly their NEXT Generation Program as the Canadian Division NEXT Generation Chair and a North American Leadership Board Member.
In his spare time, Casdin enjoys spending time with family and friends and spending time outdoors.
